Malaria: Côte d'Ivoire accelerates efforts towards elimination by 2030

On World Malaria Day, the Ivorian government reaffirmed its goal to eliminate malaria by 2030. Health Minister Pierre Dimba highlighted significant progress, including a reduction in malaria-related deaths from 1,534 in 2022 to 127 in 2025, attributed to increased use of insecticide-treated nets and other interventions. He also called for citizen engagement to achieve the 'zero malaria' goal.
