Mali: Jihadists Call for a 'Common Front' Against Assimi Goïta, Bamako Under Blockade

Jihadists from Jnim, allied with Al-Qaeda, have called for a broad 'common front' against the junta in Mali, imposing a road blockade on Bamako. The Nigerien government announced strikes by the Sahel States Alliance in response to jihadist attacks that killed the Malian Defense Minister and led to the loss of the city of Kidal. Jnim urged all patriots to unite to end the junta and establish a peaceful and inclusive transition.
