Mali Officially Supports Morocco's Autonomy Plan as Only Solution for Western Sahara

Mali has officially recognized Morocco's Autonomy Plan as the only solution to end the Western Sahara dispute. This decision was announced during the visit of Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, to Bamako. Mali considers the autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty to be the most realistic solution and also supports the UN-led political process and UN Security Council Resolution 2797 from October 2025.
