Mallorca: Samuel Eto’o dethroned after 22 years of reign

Samuel Eto’o is no longer the top scorer in the history of RCD Mallorca, having been surpassed by Vedat Muriqi. The latter scored a brace against Rayo Vallecano, bringing his total to 55 goals in La Liga. Eto’o, who scored 54 goals in La Liga during his time at Mallorca from 2000 to 2004, had set this record that stood for over two decades.
