Managem Bets Big on Gold as Prices Redefine Morocco’s Mining Ambitions

Morocco's Managem Group is investing $750 million to increase its gold production by 134%, from 213,000 ounces last year to around 500,000 ounces by the end of the decade. In 2025, net profit reached $322 million, driven by rising gold prices, which averaged $3,445 per ounce. Managem is also advancing projects in West Africa, including the Etéké project in Gabon and the Karita project in Guinea.
