In 2025, Nigeria's manufacturing sector contributed N1.17 trillion in Value Added Tax (VAT), a 45.61% increase from 2024. The Company Income Tax (CIT) also rose by 32.83% to N881.29 billion. Despite economic challenges, the manufacturing sector remains a critical pillar of the country's tax revenue, supporting Nigeria's ongoing diversification efforts away from oil dependence.
