Weather in Senegal: Rain arrives in these 15 localities, new forecasts from ANACIM

The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) forecasts light to moderate rainfall over much of Senegal from June 11 to 16, 2026. Affected localities include Bakel, Kédougou, Tambacounda, Linguère, Kaffrine, Nioro, Koungheul, Kaolack, Fatick, Diourbel, and extending to Dakar and Thiès. Thunderstorms are expected to intensify between June 15 and 16 before retreating southward from June 17.
