Troops of the 159 Battalion arrested two suspected terrorists, Dahiru Mohammed, 40, and Ismail Adamu, 34, during a stop-and-search operation at a checkpoint in Kanama, Yobe State, on April 30. The suspects were intercepted while returning from Damasak market and had incriminating images on their mobile phones. Recovered items included smartphones, traditional clothing, and a sum of 408,500 Naira.
