Hamatu Modu, a major food supplier to Boko Haram, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison by Justice Binta Fatima Nyako at the Federal High Court in Abuja. A displaced man was found dead, allegedly by suicide, in Benue State. Police arrested three suspected armed robbers and one kidnapper, while six people were abducted during a raid in Sokoto. A 65-year-old farmer was killed, and two kidnapped victims were rescued in Edo.
