Benue South killings: Aondoakaa, running mate condemn Otukpo attack, propose security measures

PDP governorship candidate for Benue State, Mike Kaase Aondoakaa, and his running mate Ogbenjuwa Oyije Ocheakiti condemned the attack by suspected armed herders on Otukpo Nobi community, which killed over eight people. They criticized the state government for failing to protect lives and property, and proposed measures such as establishing Forward Operational Bases, equipping Civil Protection Guards, and using drones and geospatial tracking. They pledged to make security a key priority in their 2027 election agenda.
