Benin: BOAD approves 17.5 billion FCFA for asset acquisition by Yattassaye & Company – La Nouvelle Tribune

The West African Development Bank (BOAD) approved a funding of 17.5 billion FCFA for Yattassaye & Company Energy Invest to acquire strategic energy assets in Benin, including oil and gas storage depots, a petroleum quay, and a network of service stations. The decision was made at the 152nd board meeting in Lomé on September 24, 2026. Additionally, BOAD approved 157.5 billion FCFA for various regional projects, including in Togo, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, and Mali, bringing its total funding since inception to 10,991.6 billion FCFA.
