Midnight massacre: Suspected Fulani bandits leave eight dead in Plateau community

Eight people were killed and another sustained gunshot injuries after suspected Fulani bandits attacked Kum community in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State early Sunday. The attackers stormed the community at about 12:30 am, opening fire on residents before fleeing. Troops of Sector 6, Operation Enduring Peace, responded to a distress call and found eight villagers dead, with one survivor wounded. The injured was evacuated to General Hospital in Riyom, while troops launched offensive operations to track down the attackers.
