Agnéby-Tiassa: Hearse carrying illegally sawn timber chased and seized in Agboville

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, agents from the regional Water and Forests Directorate intercepted a hearse carrying timber from illegal artisanal sawing in Agboville. After receiving an alert about the vehicle on the Moutcho–Agboville road, they strengthened surveillance at the Moutcho observation post. The driver forced his way through and tried to flee, but agents pursued and stopped the hearse in central Agboville.
