MINESEC: Agents declared dead are called to prove they are alive

Following a biometric and physical census of state personnel conducted between April and May 2026, the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) mistakenly declared several civil servants as deceased even though they are still working. Minister Pauline Nalova Lyonga asks the affected agents to report to Yaoundé within fourteen days with a life certificate, a valid ID, a proof of presence, and their census form to regularize their status.
