Continuation of the elevation works on National Road No. 1 in Kasangulu

The elevation works on National Road No. 1 in Kasangulu, Kongo-Central province, are ongoing under the supervision of the Congolese Agency for Major Works (ACGT). The company SIC is responsible for installing a battery of culverts to prevent rainwater stagnation. Although these works are causing traffic jams, residents are urged to be patient, as completion is expected by May 24, 2026. The road is of major economic importance and is set to evolve into a 2×2 lane configuration.
