Money, ethnicity drive leadership recruitment in Nigeria - Aviation Minister, Keyamo

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, described the leadership recruitment process in Nigeria as flawed. He emphasized that when money, ethnicity, and patronage override merit, the entire system suffers. Keyamo also noted that political parties, which are supposed to be democratic vehicles, are often influenced by financial and ethnic considerations in candidate selection.
