Morocco’s Parliament Opens Spring Session Ahead of Elections, Government Review

Morocco’s two chambers of parliament opened the second session of their fifth legislative year in Rabat, initiating a busy period of lawmaking and government oversight. House of Representatives Speaker Rachid Talbi El Alami announced that 39 bills, including 23 related to international agreements, are on the agenda. He also highlighted the growing international support for Morocco's autonomy plan regarding Western Sahara, calling it a decisive turning point.
