Death of Timmy: Autopsy of Stranded Whale to Clarify Causes

Scientists performed an autopsy on June 4 on the Danish island of Anholt on the humpback whale named Timmy. The whale died shortly after a rescue operation in the North Sea. It had been spotted stranded on March 23 near the German Baltic coast. The results of the examination will be made public later.
