Mother's Day in Poro: Fidèle Sarassoro honors and commissions 2,400 wives of traditional chiefs

Fidèle Gboroton Sarassoro, president of the Regional Council of Poro, honored 2,400 wives of traditional chiefs on Mother's Day on July 11, 2026 in Korhogo. He tasked them with a community outreach mission to promote girls' education, combat early pregnancies, and ensure systematic birth registration. Economically, he encouraged the promotion of Village Savings and Credit Associations (AVEC) to strengthen women's financial autonomy.
