MPs Approve Additional Ksh10B for NIS, Ksh24B for Defence Amid Rising Border Security Threats

The Kenyan National Assembly approved a Ksh10 billion increase for the National Intelligence Service (NIS) as part of a Ksh45 billion overall boost to security forces. The Ministry of Defence receives an additional Ksh24.4 billion to strengthen its capabilities, while the National Police Service is allocated Ksh7.5 billion for operational needs.
