N100,000 wage: Lagos labour harps on proper consultation, economic realities

The chairperson of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Lagos State Council, Comrade Funmi Sesi, emphasized the need for proper tripartite consultation and consideration of economic realities in discussions on a new national minimum wage. She reacted to a proposed N100,000 minimum wage by the Nigeria Governors' Forum, stating it cannot be unilaterally decided. Sesi also questioned the governors' performance on security and infrastructure.
