Ligue 1: AC Rangers earn first point away against Dauphin Noir

AC Rangers earned a 0-0 draw away to AS Dauphin Noir on the opening day of the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s national football championship in Kindu, Maniema. The Goma club has been playing its home matches there since war broke out in eastern DRC. Both sides created few chances and failed to convert them. The season, originally scheduled to resume in July, was delayed by the Congolese football federation amid pending disputes, including a case between FC Les Aigles du Congo and TP Mazembe that was decided in Mazembe’s favor.
