The Northern Coalition for Accountability and Public Trust (NCAPT) has disputed SERAP's claims regarding the alleged disappearance of ₦26.9 billion from the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF). NCAPT pointed out that the average annual allocation to the USPF was about ₦7.5 billion, questioning how such a large sum could be lost. Additionally, they noted that over ₦13.8 billion referenced was related to operating surplus deductions managed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
