Over 8.3 tons of narcotics and falsified medications, valued between 40 and 50 million FCFA, were incinerated in Guiglo on October 10, 2026. These substances were seized by law enforcement between April 18 and October 9, 2026, during special operations conducted by the anti-drug police, including cannabis, cocaine, heroin, and low-quality or falsified medicines.
