Cemac: Weekly liquidity demand from banks reaches 904 billion FCFA

Credit institutions in Cemac requested 903.9 billion FCFA from BEAC during the liquidity injection operation on September 15, 2026. The central bank offered 800 billion FCFA, resulting in a gap of 103.9 billion FCFA and a subscription rate of 112.9%. Compared to the previous two operations in September, demand increased by 97 billion FCFA between September 8 and 15, representing a 12% rise. BEAC did not specify the reasons for this increase.
