Environmental disaster fears grip Russia as Ukraine targets oil refineries

Ukrainian drone attacks have caused fires at an oil refinery in Tuapse, Russia, raising fears of environmental damage. The first strike occurred on April 16, followed by another on April 20, resulting in benzene and soot levels three times above safe limits. Residents were advised to stay indoors and wear masks as black rain, an unnatural weather phenomenon, fell over the town.
