Ituri: RVA agents demand 8 months of salary arrears

Agents and staff of the Congolese Civil Aviation Authority (RVA) in Ituri are demanding the payment of eight months of salary arrears and a health risk bonus. Since February 2026, they have not received their salaries, worsened by the closure of Bunia airport due to the Ebola outbreak. They also call for the resumption of flights in Bunia to improve the agency's revenues.
