National Assembly: Anta Babacar Ngom calls on Diomaye Faye to dissolve Parliament

During the debates on bill n°11/2026 amending the electoral code, MP Anta Babacar Ngom called on President Bassirou Diomaye Faye to dissolve the National Assembly. She emphasized that the 15th legislature no longer meets citizens' expectations and called for a renewal of the deputies. Ngom also expressed that the tensions surrounding the electoral code reform undermine the legitimacy of parliamentary work.
