The Nigerian Navy has arrested two vessels, MT Mkpodu and MT Westaf AF, carrying over 939 metric tons of suspected stolen crude oil worth over N4 billion. 26 crew members were also arrested during the operation, which was made possible through credible intelligence. Rear Adm. Olugbenga Oladipo, Commander of the Joint Task Force South South, stated that these arrests underscore the Navy's ongoing commitment to combat oil theft.
