Nigeria not corrupt as world thinks, very safe too - Omokri

Reno Omokri, Nigeria's Ambassador-designate to Mexico, argued that the country is not as corrupt as many believe, stating that global corruption rankings do not reflect Nigerian culture. He noted that the perception of corruption has improved under President Bola Tinubu's administration. Omokri also highlighted Lagos State's economic growth, with its GDP significantly increasing, and challenged claims of Nigeria being unsafe by referencing the successful Detty December festivities in Lagos.
