NDC slashes nomination fees to boost inclusion of women, youths, PWDs

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has reduced nomination fees to encourage the participation of women, youths, and persons living with disabilities in the 2027 general elections. Women and youths aged 18 to 35 will pay 50% of the fees, while PWDs will pay only 25%. This initiative aims to correct political imbalances and open the political space to groups often excluded due to high financial costs.
