NDC urges Obi and Kwankwaso to join the party

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to join its party and contest in the 2027 elections. Additionally, the Accord Party disowned an opposition meeting in Ibadan, alleging political impersonation. Former Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, has left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rejoin the PDP. The PDP also stated it would participate in the 2027 general elections despite internal divisions.
