A report published by the Spanish outlet AS details the events of the 2025 AFCON final, where Senegal walked off the pitch after a penalty was awarded to Morocco in the 97th minute. Although Senegal lifted the trophy, CAF later ruled the match a forfeit, awarding Morocco a 3-0 victory. The case is now under review by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
