Newborn twins dumped in Benue bush

A set of newborn twins was abandoned in a bush in Vandeikya, Benue State. They were discovered by a local task force during a sanitation exercise, wrapped in fresh leaves. The Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Dennis Terkura Guda, expressed outrage and took responsibility for their welfare, naming them Guda-Alia (boy) and Alia-Doo (girl). The twins are now in the custody of the Local Government Welfare Department.
