Nigeria: at least 200 dead in strikes against Boko Haram

In northeastern Nigeria, airstrikes by the military have resulted in over 200 deaths in Yobe State, according to local sources and human rights organizations. Amnesty International reported more than 100 dead and at least 35 serious injuries. Nigeria has been facing a jihadist insurgency since 2009, with violence gradually spreading to other regions of the country.
