Nigeria: Flights Delayed, Rescheduled As Jet Fuel Shortage Deepens

Air travelers in Nigeria are facing delays and cancellations due to a growing shortage of aviation fuel, known as Jet A1. Airlines have reported difficulties in maintaining schedules, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. Additionally, ground handling companies are threatening to withdraw services over a debt of 9 billion naira. The situation is worsened by a more than 300% increase in fuel prices since the onset of the US-Israel war in Iran.
