Nigeria: Man Pays Kidnappers to Abduct His Aunt, Police Arrest Him

A 31-year-old man, Chukwemeka Destiny, was arrested by the Delta State police in Nigeria for attempting to organize the kidnapping of his aunt, who had raised him. He paid a total of 900,000 nairas to individuals he believed were kidnappers, but they instead trapped him and handed him over to the authorities. Destiny confessed to his actions, stating that he did not know what had come over him.
