Nigeria's monthly oil output rises 2.2%

Nigeria's total oil production (crude and condensates) rose 2.2% in May to 1.70 million barrels per day (bpd). Crude output exceeded the OPEC quota of 1.5 million bpd for the first time in 2026, reaching 1.53 million bpd. This is the highest combined output since July 2025. Bonny Terminal led with 293,870 bpd.
