Nine killed, 11 injured in attack on Kaduna community

At least nine people were killed and 11 others injured in an attack on the Angwan Magaji community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State early Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The attackers opened fire on residents, most of whom are from the Irigwe ethnic group. The victims were identified, including four children aged 4 to 6.
