NLO fines Green Beret FC and suspends officials for assault on match officials

The Nationwide League One (NLO) has fined Green Beret FC N1.5 million and suspended the club’s officials for two seasons following an attack on match officials after their match against Zamfara United. The club must pay N1 million for violent conduct and N500,000 to cover medical expenses of the injured referees within 7 days. The NLO also demanded the club submit the names of the officials involved in the assault within 48 hours, describing the incident as unacceptable and damaging to the game's reputation.
