NMA confirms release of kidnapped doctor in Anambra

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) confirmed the release of its abducted member, Dr. Edwin Emegakor, in Anambra. Emegakor, the Medical Director of Crown Multi-Specialist Hospital in Nkpor, was kidnapped on May 7 by unidentified men allegedly dressed in security agency uniforms. After several days in captivity, he was found safe, prompting the association to review a planned strike.
