ADC Chairmen Demand Mark’s Removal and Threaten Protest Against INEC

The ADC National Executive Committee Chairmen Forum has asked INEC to remove Senator David Mark and members of his dissolved interim working committee from its portal and replace them with Nafiu Bala Gombe and officials it considers legally recognised. It also wants INEC to reopen the portal so the party can hold fresh primaries where necessary and submit candidates for the 2027 general elections. Forum secretary Kennedy Odion said in Abuja that a November 5 ruling by Justice Peter Lifu nullified Mark’s interim leadership and candidacies produced through its processes, including those of Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi. Odion threatened a nationwide protest if INEC does not comply, amid the ADC’s prolonged leadership dispute between the Mark and Gombe factions.
