NNPP raises alarm over INEC’s refusal to recognise leadership

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) demanding compliance with an existing court judgment. In a letter dated April 13, 2026, the party expressed concern over INEC's lack of response more than three weeks after the March 17, 2026 judgment. The NNPP criticized INEC for failing to recognize its authentic leadership while appearing to acknowledge individuals who have left the party.
