Zambia: President Hakainde Hichilema sworn in for a second term

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema was sworn in for a second term on Tuesday, while the main opposition leader, Brian Mundubile, is in prison on treason charges. The August 13 elections were marred by accusations of intimidation and bias, tarnishing the country's democratic reputation. Hichilema won 60% of the votes, while Mundubile received 38%, but he has gone into hiding after security forces raided his home.
