Our position of presidency to be retained in the south has not changed - SMBLF

The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF) reiterated its stance that the 2027 presidency should be zoned to the South. SMBLF spokesman Luka Binniyat stated that the group has yet to deliberate on former President Goodluck Jonathan's aspiration to contest. He also noted that the Middle Belt Forum has not taken a position on which party or candidate to support, but insists that all 2027 presidential candidates must come from the South.
