‘We need answers' — Sheikh Gumi demands probe over NAF airstrike

Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi has demanded an urgent probe into a Nigerian Air Force airstrike that reportedly killed over 50 civilians at a weekly market in Jilli village along the Borno–Yobe border. In a Facebook post, he questioned the accountability of the operation and urged the Senate to hold hearings on what he described as repeated mistakes involving civilian targets. Gumi warned that terrorism cannot be fought by risking innocent lives.
