NRC suspends Warri–Itakpe train service indefinitely over technical issues

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced the indefinite suspension of the Warri–Itakpe Train Service due to operational and technical concerns. This decision was made following technical advice from engineers to allow for critical operational assessments aimed at ensuring safety and reliability. Additionally, the Federal Government approved a 50% fare reduction on all train services for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
