Real Madrid: Tchouaméni says media coverage of his altercation with Valverde was excessive

Aurélien Tchouaméni disputed reports of a fight with his Real Madrid teammate and captain Federico Valverde, saying there had been no fight, only minor altercations in the dressing room. On The Bridge, streamed on Disney+ and YouTube, he said the club’s profile had magnified the incident and its media coverage. Real Madrid’s management reportedly fined each player €500,000. Tchouaméni and Valverde now regularly play together and appear to get along well.
