‘Breaking Barriers’: Jalid Sehouli Becomes First Arab-Muslim President of ESGO

Khalid Sehouli, known as Jalid Sehouli, was appointed president of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) on February 27, becoming the first Moroccan, Arab, and Muslim to hold this position. Born in Germany to Moroccan parents, Sehouli is also a professor at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and has authored over 1,000 publications in gynecology. He expressed his commitment to improving women's healthcare globally.
