OAU students to boycott lectures for three days over transportation hitches

The Students' Union of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has initiated a 72-hour boycott of lectures due to transportation issues. The students are demanding an increase in the number of vehicles for the over 35,000 members of the university community and the reintroduction of the previous transport system. This decision was made after a week of observation and a joint meeting of the executive councils. The situation will be reviewed at the end of the boycott, with the possibility of a protest if demands are not satisfactorily addressed.
